What is TamaBlue?
TamaBlue is a high-purity aqueous urea solution (32.5% urea and 67.5% deionized water) used in SCR systems to reduce harmful nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions from diesel engines. Vehicles manufactured in or after 2015 are equipped with SCR systems, which rely on TamaBlue to convert NOx into harmless nitrogen and water vapor, significantly reducing air pollution.
